Why B2Sea

Strengthening the dynamics of strategic cooperation between all the marine economy stakeholders and raise social awareness about the need to protect oceans’ health are crucial aspects to benefit from its whole potential.

  • They constitute an essential element as source of food, energy, transport, leisure and welfare;
  • They contribute to jobs and growth;
  • They offer great opportunities, both through traditional activities and emerging sectors highly dependent on research, technology development and innovation.

Any intervention within this scope must be driven by a sustainable management perspective, which guarantees a good environmental status of the oceans and the preservation of its natural capital.
