Data and information consultant for the western Mediterranean pilot project and collaborating in the development of capacity building activities supported by the MSP Challenge board game.
With a background on environmental sciences and specialized in MSP through the Erasmus Mundus Master Course in Maritime Spatial Planning, in the last years, Cristina has worked in different aspects of MSP with different national and intergovernmental institutions. She worked with the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) in the European transboundary projects on MSP, “Supporting the Implementation of Maritime Spatial Planning in the Northern Atlantic Region –SIMNORAT” and “Supporting de Implementation of Maritime Spatial Planning in the Western Mediterranean Region – SIMWESTMED” and currently she works for the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO in the MSP global initiative, as data and information  consultant for the western Mediterranean pilot project and collaborating in the development of capacity building activities supported by the MSP Challenge board game.
